HALLELUJAH! AN INTERVIEW!

After having a semi-breakdown last night and crying for an hour about how nobody even acknowledges my applications, "It's like sending them out into a black hole," today, on the gloomiest of rainy days after I slept poorly and felt sick this morning,

LIGHT HAS SHOWN INTO MY WINDOW.

I was going to gloomily make myself post a job application today but instead, I'm just going to bask in this, my second interview ever and first interview since I started looking for jobs again this summer. TODAY IS A GOOD DAY.

Last Two Days

The last two days I didn't post because on Thursday I met with an Assistant Director in the College of Professional Studies' Co-Op Office. It was incredibly unhelpful. He said he was new, so I'm not sure if he just didn't know much or if the department was really that unhelpful. He did direct me to NEU's Career Services, though. Apparently they have Co-Ops (paid ones) listed on their website too. So I'm going to have a look there.

Yesterday I had a major paper due in one of my classes. No time for job applications!

Administrative Assistant - External Affairs, Reach Out and Read

Getting Back on the Horse, So They Say

Starting again with the one application per day goal. I took a small break because I was having to spend 2-3 hours per day finding a single job that even minutely met any of my experience or career goals. To remedy this, I will apply for 1 job per workday. I also started looking more at Idealist.org and have been having good luck finding some jobs. So hopefully I can find 5 really quality jobs per week.

Also, I have an appointment with the Co-Op director at NEU on Thursday.

Resident in Social Enterprise - New Sector Alliance

I found this fantastic opportunity and I will be working on the application today and tomorrow.

Northeastern Follow-Up

This will be my post for today due to the fact that:
1. I am having a hard time finding new jobs to apply for this week that even remotely match my widened area of interest;
2. Technically, I was interested in two co-op opportunities listed on the Northeastern website yesterday.
